Like the AIRJET 300, the AIRJET 150 is a next-generation blowing machine: it is also equipped with intelligent software, has various monitoring functions, and operates at all network levels. Unlike the AIRJET 300, however, it features our newly developed electric drive with DuoSync, making it particularly precise, fast, and quiet. In addition, it is equipped with an automatic crash test function for even greater safety.
The DuoSync drive was developed by Breitbandtechnik Deutschland. It is purely electric. Its specially manufactured double-acting double cylinder controls and drives the two drive wheels hydraulically in perfect synchronisation. This ensures even, maximum power transmission to the fibre optic cables and even more precise control of the thrust. This provides the best possible protection for the optical fibres.
An automated test run is used to check how much thrust the cable used can withstand and the thrust with which the cable can be blown in. In this test, both the blowing speed and the permissible motor torque can be adjusted to the combination of the existing empty conduit and the fibers used. Thanks to the unique control system, the respective parameters can be set independently of each other from 0 to 100%. The AIRJET 100 and AIRJET 150 blowing machines from our product range feature the crash test function.
