The AIRJET 120 is an upgraded version of the AIRJET 100; its more powerful drive provides greater thrust and higher blowing speeds. The blowing machine was developed for laying fiber-optic cables in NE 3 and 4 and supports installers with intelligent monitoring functions for cable-friendly installation. Features such as the automatic stop function, reverse mode, and crash test enhance safety throughout the entire blowing process. At the same time, automatic logging ensures accurate documentation in accordance with Deutsche Telekom’s specifications.

The AIRJET 100 interrupts the blowing process as soon as the measuring wheel detects that the fiber-optic cable has come to a stop. This function is particularly accurate and precise thanks to the use of an encoder: The AIRJET 100 detects the rotation of the measuring wheel in 360 individual segments and can thus check the status of the cable at every single degree of a full rotation and stop the process if necessary.

Surface pressure is applied pneumatically on all AIRJET models. A pressure sensor precisely measures the set force and displays it on the screen. This feature ensures that the blowing process is consistent and gentle on the cable. It also allows for specific cable characteristics to be taken into account during the blowing process.
